Ideas on how to make a cup of tea, Japanese style?
I'm in a ceramics class of the College. I was wondering if anyone can explain example or tell me some easy ways to how I make a Japanese tea bowl or something to type.
You could shoot or make a pot pinch. Both are fine, but I prefer to shoot. Modeling with pinching give a very rustic, if done well, but I think I prefer to pitch. http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h233/chamekke/chadougu/Nezumi-Shino_chawan.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com / _Z5mkimUm5Y8/RgN_zlxdVDI/AAAAAAAAAA8/zv5xTq5PzZ0/s320/Koetsu% 2Bchawan.jpg Top one looks thrown (could be tight) background seems a pinch pot. My only recommendation is that more or less four inches (W) high. Otherwise, do not think the idea is successfully transmitted unless literally has the Japanese characters on it, which could be at the top.
