People of all ages and backgrounds are realizing the joys and benefits of the cause of their own personal registration number. However, the private number plates have not always been so affordable and were once seen as a status symbol for the rich and famous. Here's a look at some famous record with time and the proud owners of these plates.

For starters we can look at our Royal Family, who are not strangers when it comes to plates personal registration with some excellent examples of property in the family.
