
Black Entrepreneurs
Many will agree that one of the darker themes in the history of mankind is slavery and racial discrimination. Slavery may have been important in building development of newly established American colonies in the new world, but equality and human rights, which eventually won, former slaves from gaining their rights as citizens of a country they helped build. It is a price that was well paid by most people in a country that promotes freedom for everyone. After emancipation, African Americans still had to endure decades of racial discrimination and segregation. However, with its pure determination, confirmed in the principles of human rights, natural talent and perseverance have helped shape the image of the United States of America as a land of opportunities and a host of great power. For decades, many blacks have left their name and have contributed greatly to the development of their fields of arts, academia, science, culture, sports, politics, business and economics, among others.
Black Athletes
The sports world forever has been a great place to showcase talent. Particularly in the United States of America, the sport is not only a form of physical activity, is a place for entertainment. Many great athletes have considerable recognition even outside their field. There are many black athletes have become household names through the years. Since, Jackie Robinson of American Major League broke racial barriers in baseball, which leads to racial equality and other sports, many black athletes have emerged as some of the largest in the world. Among the list, of course, is Muhammad Ali, before Cassius Clay, Jr., who is considered one of the best boxers of all time. Golf World Champion Tiger Woods has won international recognition as a genius of golf. Tennis champion Serena and Venus Williams are among the top seeds in the world. And, of course, probably the most recognizable basketball player in the world, considered one of the best ever, Michael Jordan. And recently, sprinter Jamaican Usain Bolt became one of the most decorated Olympian in Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. The most famous black athletes have not won the recognition only in athletics but also as black entrepreneurs.
Black artists
Probably one of the most influential areas in the world is the entertainment industry. Black artists have also gained recognition in the entertainment field. First, Oprah Winfrey, one of the wealthiest businessmen black in the world, is considered the most influential woman in the entertainment industry. And for years, the melodies we've heard have come from black artists, or black or groups alone. Black actors have also honored both the silver and small screens of their countries, gaining worldwide recognition as the celebrities.

Black entrepreneurs have helped shape the economies of their countries and inspire people with their efforts. Christopher Gardner, one of the famous black entrepreneurs, have inspired many with his life story and struggles, as shown in the movie "The Pursuit of Happiness", based Garder's autobiography. The list of successful black entrepreneurs that seems endless. black notables include businessmen Aliko Dangote, Robert Johnson, Marcus Garvey, Maggie Walker, Ken Bridges, Russell Simmons, Susan L. Taylor and Oprah Winfrey, among others. The achievements of black entrepreneurs around the world have shown that largely no racial boundaries entrepreneurship. Black entrepreneurs have shown what equality is, and that includes equal opportunity to succeed.
