Saka © is a traditional Japanese liquor made from rice and water. is produced from the fermentation and filtering process. known in the West as â € œSakà © â €, but in Japan as "Nihonshuâ €, Saka © is a general term for alcohol.

These containers are turned into an art form of ceramics and many were produced by potteries. Most are small family were known as mud especially the Japanese as € â € œstone texturedâ.  Very often ordered Tokkuri brewery of the potter, who wrote the name of the brewery in Japanese characters or flowing script as shown in the examples.
