How to eliminate leaks of oil without the smell of the painted walls inside the house?

The house has recently moved to this problem in one of rooms. It seems to get worse when it's hot in the room. Walls of this room had previously wallpapers, but it seems it was removed before paint. I'm not sure what type of paint used, but not a brilliant guy. Do not sniff paint, gasoline or chemicals that cause brain damage and could kill period. No joke. It's a very silly way to get high.
