What is gold golden when applied to a coin?

I am bidding on eBay on coins gold is described as golden, but dummy I do not know what "golden brown" is. kind assistance. thanks.

Essentially, it just means that the coin has a thin layer gold, or something like gold in it. (Similar to the gold coating) layer beneath the gold coin is almost certainly some base metals. Even if the real gold was used, the amount of gold required would be minute. Do not buy the currency of thinking that you are investing in gold. The currency may (or may not) be valuable for other reasons, but it is valuable for the gold content.
