What can I use to paste a stone / marble chess piece carved back together?
I have a chess set of carved stone. It looks like the marble, but somehow one of the pieces were broken in half. There must be some kind of solvent to glue stone back together. Can anyone suggest anything more appropriate than simply old superglue?
Jerry M is the correct answer. Gorilla Glue works for a large number of applications including stone. Only be sure to moisten the two ends that stick with water and apply a drop to a piece. For this particular project wait a few minutes before joining, ie, we to get the hang of bad taste. Once the studs to join the two pieces and let dry. Gorilla Glue is a urethane and greatly extends as cures; This this, be sure to use only a drop, otherwise it will foam all over his room. There are also Loctite "Perfect Glue" that would be my first choice. These glues come in pefect Glue 1, 2, and 3. I think 3 is the ceramic and stone, if my memory serves me. This will not have the features of the expansion of Gorrilla and comes in a bottle similar to the super glues. Less money will be equally if not more lasting and effective. Do they make the photo paper inkjet that can be colored by hand?
I am having a hell of a time to know if you can a. color hand on matte inkjet photo printer, and b. if they make a paper for inkjet printers specifically for hand coloring. He had a great idea for a project this weekend and do not want to wait for a laboratory to develop my impressions. So does anyone know the answers to any of these questions? anyone in any of the vessels and stores here knows what im talking Heck! thanks!
I've done it by hand coloring the ink jet prints. You want to use a matte paper. The trick if it is to coat the paper with a type of protection layer after printing the picture in the paper. These sprays are sold in aerosol cans in hobby stores or craft. Once sterilization is dry, you can then hand-colored in the picture. The spray paint keeps soak through the paper. I use cotton balls to apply the paint. steve

Is there a way to extend Flash animations out of the browser window?
I'm trying to program in Flash animation, but I think it would be good to have some things – for example, a rebound Beachball – go beyond the browser window. Or, a short overlay glass across the screen in breaking the monitor. Is there a way to do this?
Your Flash animations are limited to the container that contains – that is the browser window. Think of it like this: the browser is the window on the Internet – you're looking at things happening on the other side of the window. There is a way of making a Flash presentation go to full screen by the component FLVPlayer, but do not know if it can be done automatically. . . all components are encoded using ActionScript and Java however, what may be possible to make glass Monitor last-minute animation that you refer to (though in my opinion would not be as fun as it would have been 5-6 years – most people have flat screens now, instead of the old CRT screens.) Having said that, Flash is awesome, but still governed by the rules of the Internet – one of them is as follows: No you pop up a browser without my permission. If you do something with a javascript popup (which would be my hypothesis about how the component is encoded FLVPlayer), then one can assume that a percentage of your audience may not have the complete experience on the screen you want and that their browsers have a popup blocker enabled. This is all the rumors about me, without external support. If you are looking to ask REAL experts in Flash, visit the following link. They are the best!
