Try some lime-away or a CLR, which sounds a lime or calcium accumulation problem.

A question about Chinese radish plate for decoration?

We went to dinner last night at a Chinese rest. and the plate had a flower made from a radish. This is what the waitress told me it was anyway. I took it apart to see how they did and each segment was about the size of a baseball great size. Is there a special type of Chinese radish that grows so large or what I think it was something else? Thanks Clara looks and sounds like what it was used as food coloring used for the edges and it was white to begin with.

Could have been a daikon radish. They spend large … 2 to 4 inches in diameter and 6 to 20 inches long,

Is the cocktail piano again are becoming porcelain rollers on the legs?

I am restoring a 1880 walnut, high back piano stool. It is in beautiful condition. The point is that each of the four legs has a hole at the bottom that resembles a metal pin porcelain roller installed on it. My stool is a rare type that had no metal and glass ball feet. Each leg is drained and slightly carved. I have a set of rollers that look great in the stool, I do not want to use them if this type of stool ever had. Any suggestions?

Well, I have a 1939 Kimball & co. piano stool and matching flat. The piano has steel supports and brass wheels. feces has brass plugs in the end with what looks like a steel knob 1 / 4 inch thick and round 1 / 2 inch. about the size of an M & M. I hope that helps.

Why do the Chinese clay soldiers?

And a couple more questions, What did the Chinese invent? What weapons are used Chinese? And why did the Mongols invade China?!

The clay soldiers you mention are known as the terracotta warriors. Were made for the tomb of the first Chinese emperor, Qin Shi Huang. They were supposed to protect the great emperor in his afterlife. The Chinese invented many things that Europeans have made many centuries to discover. Silk, paper money, gunpowder, fireworks, the list goes on forever. Recent discoveries also led the Historians believe that the Chinese around the world before anyone in Europe, and the discovery of America in 1421, 70 years before Columbus, but after 421 years of the Vikings. In the Chinese art of war they used spears, swords, swords, shields and bows. He also invented the n Chu Ku, or repeating crossbow. It's like a crossbow machine gun that shoots bolts. Martial Arts are also crucial in Chinese history. Genghis Khan and the Mongols invaded China for obvious reasons Horde. Chinese society was more advanced at the time. China had the wealth and technology. China also had the resources and technology for weapons of siege. Without China's wealth Genghis Khan had never been successful. But before the Mongols invaded China Genghis Khan had promised to supply them with troops and resources. China decided to withdraw its offer Genghis Khan forcing a reckoning with China. China's defeat to the Mongols can blame the Army for granting Jin hence the position of the Mongols. These are only rough answers to a subject so large. Internet research would be helpful.

Blue enamel is hazardous to health?

I glazed a water pipe clay with "Medditeranean Mist" and "Perriwinkle" is a mixture of dark blue. Could be dangerous to snuff the smoke out of it?

Everything depends on whether the enamel is toxic or not … enamel is toxic if is more dangerous when in liquid form and after being fired there will be food secure, but will be fine for other uses … you need to look at the bottle to see if the glaze is toxic or not to determine if it's OK to smoke
