Who made my vintage Flower Bowl?

I have a plate of ceramic flower harvest, with the U.S. marked on the bottom. No mother in the U. The 'S' is slightly longer than the other letters. I do not think it's so old … Can anyone help?

I think it would be a McCoy. Not all of McCoy pottery McCoy said. Would be around 1940-1950s.
