Chinese Vase
Any idea how much Ivory Chinese vase, 15 inches high is worth in the U.S.?

The glass is more than 100 years, is in great shape. I'll stick with some more details.

Is it true ivory (you can tell by the demotion, fine grained ivory has it, not only normal bone). Is it carved, painted or otherwise decorated? Is there any documentation of age is? Is there any manufacturer's marks on the bottom? Depending All these factors could be worth $ 100 to $ 10,000. It all depends on how rare and fine, is an example.

How do I take care of a red rose in a vase?

Okay. It is an ordinary clear glass vase. I brought home a red rose yesterday from school. Me said they cut the bottom diagonally. So I did and I went to a wet paper towel and wrapped the bottom of it. Of course, in the morning was out all day in the sun without water. And since I brought it home now in a glass of water. But I wonder how I take care of it so you can last a little longer. Any suggestions?

How to prevent mold on a wooden vase?

I have this nice wooden vessel of Asia (made of bamboo). But the problem is that whenever I leave the flower and water there for a week, the water is filthy and there is mold inside the glass above the water level, while the crystal vase I other does not have the same problem. Is there anything I can put into the mold to avoid and not kill the flowers? Thanks!

Mold can grow only on surfaces organic. Since bamboo is organic, has a problem. You could try to fool the mold spores by: 1.cleaning bamboo with a bleach solution liquid and water, then apply 2 coats of marine polyurethane inside. 3. put a glass vase of bamboo on the inside of the glass.
