Yellowish white antique cabinets with an island?

My cabinets are painted antique white (I guess I could repaint them). I found an island that is painted yellow with a top butcher block, I love, but I'm not sure I could do the job of colors. Does anyone has seen this color scheme? What do you think? Pictures would be great. Thanks! My walls are khaki, and I'm getting new counters, but have not yet decided on a color suggestions on this?

What color is your wall and worktop in the rest of the kitchen? If color is beige khaki then add brown stain wash to the island to calm the yellow and is good to go. If khaki is green, yellow might work if not too bright. Maybe you could dilute some of khaki green and use it as like washing the yellow stain on the island.
