Why are all half white half Chinese people have brown hair?

I am curious why the children of one white and one parent Chinese have brown hair. They always have some shade of brown and not black. I thought the Chinese did not have brown hair genes? Or is that the genes for hair black mixed with light hair genes clarifies black hair to brown. I know many half white half Chinese, they all have some shade of brown hair. Some of them have light brown eyes too. The only thing that makes them look Chinese is the shape of their eyes.

You said it. China has no hair genes brown, but Caucasian. I do not think that this whole mixed race will have brown hair, but they receive half their genes from dad and half from the mother and anything can happen.
